OMG! Gossip Girl leads the pack for this year’s Teen Choice Awards with a whopping 14 nominations.

Among the “choice” nods for the hit CW series: TV show drama and TV breakout show. While cast members Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley are vying for the title of TV actor drama, actress Blake Lively is up for female hottie, the FOX network announced Tuesday.

Singer Chris Brown snagged the next most nods – nine, including one for his hit single, “With You.” And despite any photo controversy, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus scored four nominations for her music and acting – as well as the gig as this year’s host.

Reigning awards show champ Justin Timberlake has already won a record 21 surfboards since 1999, and earned three more nominations this year.

The Teen Choice Awards will air Aug. 4 on FOX. Fans ages 13-19 can vote for their fave nominees at www.TeenChoiceAwards.com.

Everyone knows that you can’t star on a hit teen show without getting constant offers for movie roles, so it’s no surprise that many of the Gossip Girl cast have spent their between season hiatus on film sets. It was just announced that our very own Nate Archibald (heartthrob Chace Crawford), will be appearing on screens this Halloween in a suspense thriller called The Haunting of Molly Hartley. Haunting is a regular TV star-palooza, directed by Everwood producer Mickey Liddell and featuring Jake Weber of Medium, AnnaLynne McCord of the new 90210, and Shannon Marie Woodward of The Riches.

Chace isn’t the only Gossip Girl lead moving from the small screen to the silver screen. Everyone from our favorite lothario Chuck to wannabe Jenny will soon be gracing cineplexes everywhere, much to our delight.

Reformed bad girl Serena (Blake Lively) is the busiest of the bunch as she tackles three movie roles. The first is the sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which also features fellow TV stars Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), and Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia). Set to be released on August 6, the film sends the four leads on different paths as they all leave high school, though they continue to keep in touch to share their adventures. What could make Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), our favorite bad-girl-gone-good, look so blue? Apparently, her life and reputation are on the line!

Yes, you’re looking at brand new “Gossip Girl” wedding scene stills, shot on location today in New York (where, apparently, some other “Gossip Girl” bloggers reside).

Our Serena (the lovely Lively, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world) is rocking her multi-tiered pale yellow floral chiffon halter gown designed by Ralph Lauren. (A perfect dress for a picnic in the California poppy fields. Hmmm?)

But why so East Coast glum, Serena? What is G up to now? Of course, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is there, preparing to do battle with G (Michelle Trachtenberg) while wearing a pink Collette Dinnigan frock.

Bad boy Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) turn up in their formal wear. And you just know that the society wedding of the year will provide Serena the chance to finally pour out her heart and the truth about her past to Dan.

As previously reported, Lydia Hearst guest stars in the episode as Amelia, a stylin’ interior decorator in a pair of amaaaaazing gladiator heels by Siegerson Morrison.

We do wonder if the gossip girls at New York mag have any more daily intel into this wedding scene. After all, it is conveniently located right in their backyard.
